Dear Malaysian,
It is about due time I started blogging and what better time to start blogging than during the peak season of political reformation in Malaysia. I have been forced to tell you that the ruling party is up to no good and it is about time we take what is rightfully ours from the corrupt and the greedy.
I being an Indian, I am very sad with the state of thing going about is this country. The MP of Shah Alam, Zulkifli Nordin can go about unpunished for his blasphemous words against the Hindu religion and all he need to do was to say sorry to earn the forgiveness of the people? No. If we had a wise Prime Minister, He would have know better that to put this clown in a Parliamentary Seat. Then we have Hamidah Osman. That woman can just prancing about saying that and i quote her words " If you see a snake and an Indian, kill the Indian first and then the snake". Seriously my fellow Indians, do you want this kind of people ruling this country.
I also being a christian am very ashamed with the amount of respect we get from the Barisan Government. Ibrahim Ali, can say that the Malay version of the bible should be burned. This is just too much. This country is multiracial and multicultural. How can someone, especially a member of Parliament can say such things. Is it right Malaysian? Is it just? Is it fair? We live in a country where the people respect one another and the government just wants to start a civil war.
I say this Malaysians, due to the fact that is ruling party of ours, the Barisan Nasional, has promised so much and delivered almost nothing in return. Their Job is actually quite simple. Keep the Malaysian people happy for the next five years with growth in the economy, stability in the country and a steady climb to coming out of the third world country status. Yet we are still where we are. Backdated, Undermined and Tough Lowly by the rest of human civilization.
I ask you people of Malaysian. Is it fair for us as citizen of this country to live in a country where the government is corrupted and does not care about the well being of the country? Is it right for the government to be in debt, a debt of 502 BILLION DOLLARS so that their pockets are full and our pockets remain empty? Is it clean that our Electoral Commission (SPR/ Suruhanjaya Pilihanraya) is at the side aid the Barisan Nasional is winning the upcoming election? Is it Just for our rights to vote to be revoked, so that foreigners decide the fate of this country? I ask you Malaysian Voting Citizen, do you have confidence in this government to achieve it's goals? Do you have confidence in The Electoral Commission? Do you confidence in the leaders of Barisan Nasional to turn over a new leaf and put an end to their self centered and selfish ways?
Malaysian, it is time to show those leader who have undermined you that the people will not stand their nonsense anymore. Help create a country where people feel safe. Help create a country where people feel belonged. Help create a country where people are family, who do not see skin color, country of origin or religion.
It is time for the people to rise for the ashes and take what is rightful their. Take back your country Malaysia. You deserve better. You deserve harmony. You deserve tranquility. Do the right thing. Vote for change. Vote for the right and just leaders. Vote for Pakatan Rakyat and say goodbye to the unjust.
